Its major cons are limited to the caps on the modular cables and the relatively short distance between peripheral connectors. Super Flower's ARGB line is a good choice, and the four models cover a wide range. If you desperately want an RGB-lit power supply, your options are limited. Given transient response impacts a system's entire performance, you should pay close attention to this performance metric, especially if you want to use power-hungry, high-end CPUs and GPUs. The normal tests I run to check on efficiency, load regulation, and ripple performance don't show how the corresponding regulating circuits respond to fast changes in load, which is why I have to conduct another test where the dialed loads change so quickly I need a scope to "catch" the voltage deviations. Still, overall performance is close to the competition, and thus far, no major brand, including Corsair, Seasonic, or EVGA, offers similar performance with RGB lighting for a PSU. While both the non-RGB and RGB Leadex III use the same platform, I noticed a performance difference between the 750 W models, which probably comes down to my sample-it seems I am not that lucky when it comes to hardware. The Super Flower Leadex III ARGB Gold 750 W offers good performance and RGB lighting for the fan and all cube-shaped modular connectors.
